Important Safety Precautions
- Inspect clutch sheaves for spider cracks before installing a clutch kit, especially on high-mileage sleds
- Check for smooth shifting:

- Check for binding in the primary

- Clutch rotation:
- NEVER rotate the clutch clockwise (can decompress timing chain tensioner)
- Always rotate counter-clockwise
- If you need to go back, make a full turn in the correct direction
